The 2007 Banner was unveiled on the Nicky Hayden fans suite on Friday July 20th, just before MotoGP Free Practice 1.

The auction ended with a winning bid of $701.50. Thanks to all who bid!

All proceeds, 100%, went to the Red Flag Fund and the Roadracing World Action fund (the air fence people.

Thanks so much to the artist, Geoff Lane and his wife Mandy for their hard work on this magnificent original, hand designed and painted piece of art.

The winning bid came from Mark Smead, a retired Software Engineer from Pleasanton California. Mark is a Nicky Hayden Fan and avid rider, who plans to give the banner as a birthday present to his son, Hayden - also a Nicky fan. Though dad allows that if Hayden doesn't plan on hanging the banner himself, he just might need to loan it to dad who will hang it in the Smead garage over his motorcycle collection.
